Larna Nahin Parhna Hai

The Pakistan Institute of Human Rights (PIHR) is holding a nationwide essay writing and poster contest on the theme of "Larna Nahin Parhna Hai”.

Objective: To create mass awareness by invigorating the minds of the Pakistani youth and professionals to think and express their understanding on how education can promote tolerance and respect to positively shape the future of individuals as well as the society.

Theme: "Larna Nahin Parhna Hai” focuses on the importance and role of education as a tool for understanding and respecting civil rights of all.

Categories for Competition:  The essay contest is for students from the following categories:

  • Grade 6 – 10 (15 prizes)
  • Intermediate – Masters (9 prizes)

Poster competition is for professionals only.

Prizes: Top three essay contest winners will receive cash prizes according to their category within the bracket of Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 25,000 each. Top three poster competition winners will receive cash prizes within the bracket of Rs. 125,000 to Rs. 300,000 each.
